Side-effect tracking

A symptom name is not the whole story.

When it started, how strong it felt, how long it lasted, and what it changed in your day often matter more than the name alone.

Record four practical details

  • What you noticed, in your own words
  • When it started relative to the recorded dose
  • How severe it felt using one consistent scale
  • Whether it affected eating, drinking, sleep, work, or normal activity

Add context without guessing

You may also note relevant routine changes such as travel, an unusual meal, another prescribed medication, or illness. Keep observation separate from interpretation: two events appearing together does not establish a cause.

Review patterns, not isolated dots

Mounjari places symptoms beside dose and weight history so you can review a sequence over time. Estimated medication-level charts are approximations for context, not laboratory measurements.

Know when the app is not the next step

Do not wait for a tracking pattern if a symptom is severe, rapidly worsening, or concerning to you. Follow the urgent-care instructions provided by your clinician, local health service, and medication leaflet.
