Mounjari vs Shotsy
Shotsy does one important thing Mounjari does not: it tracks several active medications at once. If you need that, choose Shotsy. If native iPad and Apple Watch apps, three export formats, and keeping your health history out of app analytics matter more, choose Mounjari.

What Shotsy does better
Shotsy supports several active medication schedules and has a much larger public community. If either of those is central to what you need, Shotsy is the better choice.
What Mounjari does better
Mounjari has native iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch apps, plus Android. It supports maintenance tracking, daily-pill fasting timers, and PDF, CSV, and JSON exports. Your health entries stay on your device instead of being uploaded to Mounjari analytics.
The privacy difference
Shotsy’s policy says anonymous experience data may be collected from US iOS users for aggregate analysis. It gives examples such as injection counts, injection-site distribution, side-effect frequency, feature use, crashes, app version, and operating system. Shotsy says users can turn this off and that it excludes direct identifiers and free-text notes.
Mounjari does not send health entries or use of its tracking features to general product analytics. We do not upload dose, symptom, weight, or nutrition entries to our servers for analysis. On Apple devices, optional sync uses your own iCloud account.
Mounjari's important limitation
Mounjari currently follows one active medication at a time. It preserves previous medication history when you switch, but it is not the better choice for someone who needs several simultaneous schedules in one tracker.
