What GlucoPal does better

GlucoPal gives iPhone users a broader visual diary. It can estimate a meal from a photo and keep progress photos beside doses, symptoms, nutrition, and weight. If those two photo-based features are central to your routine, GlucoPal is the better fit.

Where the two apps agree

Neither app requires a company account for the health record. Both keep the main record on the device and use the user’s own iCloud for Apple sync. GlucoPal also says it does not sell health data or use it for advertising.

What Mounjari does better

Mounjari works across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Android. It exports PDF, CSV, and JSON, supports Health Connect on Android, and does not send health entries or use of tracking features to product analytics.

The privacy difference

GlucoPal’s local storage and personal iCloud design is a real privacy strength. Its policy also says that, with permission, limited health events may be sent to Firebase, Mixpanel, PostHog, or UXCam for product improvement. Examples include whether a dose was logged, dose ranges, weight entries, and symptom categories. Meal photos are sent to Groq only when the meal-analysis feature is used; progress photos are not sent to analytics.

Mounjari does not send health entries or tracking-feature events to product analytics. The company does not receive a copy of your dose, symptom, weight, nutrition, or note history.

Mounjari’s important limitation

Mounjari currently follows one active medication at a time. It preserves the previous history when you switch, but it is not designed for several simultaneous medication schedules.
