What GLPMate does better
GLPMate covers more of the daily routine. It can track several medications, food, sleep, body measurements, progress photos, lab results, glucose, blood pressure, and appetite. Its AI assistant can turn a message into structured entries and answer questions from the data a user has allowed it to read.
It also offers cloud backup across iPhone and Android. If those features matter more than keeping the record away from a company server, GLPMate is the better fit.
What Mounjari does better
Mounjari does not need a company health account. Your doses, symptoms, weight, nutrition, and notes stay on the device; optional Apple sync uses your own iCloud account. Mounjari also has an Apple Watch app and exports the record as PDF, CSV, or JSON.
The released app sends no product-analytics events and uses no external crash-reporting service, advertising network, or mobile attribution partner.
The privacy difference
GLPMate’s policy says health and profile data are stored on its servers and linked to an account. When the AI assistant is used, messages, documents, voice input, transcripts, and relevant health data may be processed by OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and Langfuse; authorized staff may review conversations for quality and safety. The policy also lists Amplitude, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob, and mobile attribution services, while noting that some services may be inactive in a particular build or region.
GLPMate deserves credit for keeping progress photos on the device and offering direct account deletion. The difference is not that it hides its cloud service. It explains it. The decision is whether you want those cloud and AI features enough to place your health history in that system.
Mounjari takes the narrower path: no AI assistant, no company health database, and no product analytics. The company cannot open a server record of your doses, symptoms, weight, or notes because it never receives one.
Mounjari’s important limitation
Mounjari follows one active medication at a time. It does not offer GLPMate’s multi-medication timeline, AI assistant, cloud backup between iPhone and Android, progress photos, lab-result storage, or its broader food and body tracking.
